Awarding Those Making an Impact
Entries are now open for the 2018 Sherwin-Williams Impact Award. Run by Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings, the annual program recognizes application contractors, specifiers, and owners for excellence on North American water and wastewater projects.
Eligible projects include any water-related structure that is new, restored, and/or rehabilitated and was completed using Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine coating and lining materials between January 1 and December 31, 2017.
“Recognizing the most challenging water and wastewater projects of the year, the Sherwin-Williams Impact Award highlights project excellence in the industry. Each year, the awards program showcases projects that use high-performance protective coatings to overcome challenging conditions and deliver long-term asset protection,” said Kevin Morris, Water & Wastewater Market Director, Sherwin-Williams Protective and Marine Coatings. “These projects all provide a positive impact to the communities they serve in terms of enhancing public safety, asset protection, and infrastructure life.”
Applications will be accepted June 1 through July 31, 2018.
All submissions will be reviewed by an independent judging panel of water industry experts. Their work encompasses corrosion and materials engineering, consulting, specification, testing, and inspection services.
The Sherwin-Williams Impact Award will be presented at the Water Environment Federation’s Annual WEFTEC Conference and Exhibition October 1 - 3, 2018, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
