High Temperature, High Pressure Protection

The 100 percent solids tank lining offers an extended lifecycle for high temperature crude oil and produced water and frac tank applications.

When conventional systems cannot withstand contents that have been extracted under pressure and at temperatures as high as 300° F (150°C) for crude oil and 210°F (99° C) for produced water, look no further than Nova-Plate® 325. A lining for heavy crude oil must take today’s high temperatures and pressures into account and Nova-Plate 325 has been engineered to protect cargo and steel tank interiors from chemicals stored at these high temperatures and pressures.

The 100 percent solids tank lining offers an extended lifecycle for high temperature crude oil and produced water and frac tank applications.

Asset owners can expect fast return to service, with the drying schedule allowing for foot traffic in six hours and cure to service in 48 hours, for a typical 20 mil DFT application at 77°F (25° C). In rehabilitation applications, Nova-Plate 325 can be applied in a single coat up to 60 mils DFT.

The coating is appropriate for universal “swing service” applications in refined fuel and ethanol service and provides edge protection, protecting against premature corrosion. Nova-Plate 325 can be used in applications where conventional tank linings are not recommended.
